For the last hour of my latest trip I endured the most noise the Suzi's drive belt has ever made. Commenting on it to my 83 year old father, he reflected that he corrected a similar problem on an old Model T Ford by rubbing the sides of the belt with soap. Soap???
Well, by George, it works!!! A quick rub on the sides of the belt with a dry bar of Ivory soap did the trick.
Now I have a use for all those little bars of hotel soap I've been collecting! I'll just re-package them as belt dressing!
